Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before applying for or booking a SKYMIA trip. By submitting an application and/or making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Guest”) and SKYMIA (“we”, “us”, or “our”). If you do not agree to these terms, you must not proceed with an application or booking.
SKYMIA is a small-group travel company that organises premium, curated group travel experiences for independent and solo travellers. We operate as a UK-based business and are responsible for organising accommodation, transfers, and curated group experiences as outlined in each trip package.
SKYMIA does not operate as a package travel organiser under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 unless expressly stated. Guests are responsible for arranging their own flights and travel insurance independently.
All prospective guests must complete an online application before a booking can be confirmed. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance onto a trip.
SKYMIA reserves the right to accept or decline any application at our sole discretion. Factors considered include group compatibility, travel experience, and the information provided in the application.
Accepted applicants will be invited to participate in a short introductory call. A booking is only confirmed once:
The trip price per person is clearly stated on the relevant trip page at the time of booking. SKYMIA reserves the right to update pricing for future trips. Any price changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on a trip. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking. Payment of a deposit constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days prior to the trip departure date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in your booking being cancelled and your deposit being forfeited.
For bookings made within 60 days of departure, the full trip price is due at the time of booking.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. All prices are quoted in GBP (British Pounds Sterling).
Unless otherwise stated, each SKYMIA trip includes:
The following are not included unless expressly stated:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to SKYMIA via email. The following cancellation charges apply:
We strongly recommend that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation cover.
SKYMIA reserves the right to cancel a trip in the following circumstances:
In the event of cancellation by SKYMIA, guests will receive a full refund of all monies paid to SKYMIA. We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred, including flights, visas, or other travel arrangements made independently.
SKYMIA reserves the right to make reasonable modifications to trip itineraries, accommodation, or experiences where necessary. Where a significant change is made, guests will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable and offered the option to cancel with a full refund.
SKYMIA will confirm the specific villa or accommodation property once minimum booking numbers for a trip have been reached. Prior to confirmation, indicative accommodation standards and property examples may be shared to illustrate the quality and type of accommodation guests can expect.
Accommodation is provided on a shared basis. Room allocation is at the discretion of SKYMIA and will be communicated in advance of the trip. Guests are expected to treat all accommodation with care and respect.
Any damage caused to accommodation during a trip is the responsibility of the individual(s) responsible. SKYMIA reserves the right to recover the reasonable cost of any damage directly from the guest concerned.
SKYMIA strongly recommends that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure. We strongly encourage you to obtain a policy that covers, at a minimum:
Travel insurance is not a requirement of booking, however by proceeding without it you acknowledge and accept that you do so entirely at your own risk. SKYMIA shall have no liability whatsoever for any costs, losses, or damages that adequate travel insurance would have covered, including but not limited to medical expenses, evacuation costs, or trip cancellation losses.
By confirming your booking, you confirm that you have read and understood this recommendation and accept full responsibility for any consequences arising from your decision not to take out travel insurance.
SKYMIA is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all guests. All guests are expected to:
Villa accommodation is booked exclusively for the confirmed SKYMIA group and must not be used to host parties, events, or additional guests beyond those registered on the trip. A full set of villa house rules will be provided to guests ahead of departure, and all guests are expected to comply with them throughout the trip.
SKYMIA reserves the right to remove any guest from a trip at any time, without refund, if their behaviour is deemed to be disruptive, offensive, dangerous, or otherwise detrimental to the experience of other guests or the reputation of SKYMIA.
Removed guests will be responsible for all costs associated with their early departure, including alternative accommodation and flights home.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are in suitable health to participate in a SKYMIA trip. You must inform SKYMIA of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or accessibility needs prior to booking.
SKYMIA is not a medical service provider and cannot be responsible for any health-related issues arising during a trip. Guests should consult their GP or a travel health specialist prior to departure.
SKYMIA shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
In such circumstances, SKYMIA will endeavour to offer alternative arrangements or, where this is not possible, a credit or refund at our discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKYMIA’s liability to any guest shall be limited to the total amount paid by that guest for the trip in question.
SKYMIA shall not be liable for:
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions seeks to limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
SKYMIA collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. By submitting an application, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in that policy.
We will not sell or share your personal data with third parties except where necessary to deliver the trip services (e.g. accommodation providers or transfer companies).
SKYMIA may take photographs or video footage during trips for use in marketing materials, social media, and our website. By participating in a SKYMIA trip, you consent to your likeness being used for these purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in any marketing materials, please notify us in writing before or at the start of the trip.
If you have a complaint during a trip, please raise it with the SKYMIA host as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to resolve it. Complaints raised after the trip must be submitted in writing within 28 days of the trip end date.
We take all feedback seriously and will respond to written complaints within 14 working days.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
SKYMIA reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of your booking confirmation will apply to your trip. Updated terms will be published on our website.
